Return and Refund Policy
At Studio Cinquante, we take the greatest care in selecting and shipping our works. However, if you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, here are our return conditions:
1. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with current legislation (Articles L221-18 and L221-28 of the French Consumer Code):

Original Works: Original works, such as drawings, paintings, or canvases, are not eligible for the right of withdrawal. This exclusion applies due to their unique nature and artistic value.

Limited Edition Prints, Lithographs, and Serigraphs: Prints, lithographs, or serigraphs signed and numbered by the artist are considered original works of art for the purposes of the right of withdrawal and are therefore not eligible for this right.

Standard Prints or Reproductions: Non-limited reproductions or prints benefit from a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of receipt of the order, provided the product is returned intact and in its original packaging, at the buyer's expense.

Design Objects and Small Furniture: In-stock design objects and small furniture benefit from a 14-day right of withdrawal, provided they are returned intact and in their original packaging, at the buyer's expense.
Studio Cinquante informs its customers transparently before order validation: all original works and signed limited editions are excluded from the right of withdrawal, while design objects and standard prints benefit from the legal right of withdrawal.
2. Condition of the Work and Packaging
At Studio Cinquante, we take the greatest care in selecting and shipping our works. However, some works may show signs of wear, foxing (age spots), or small imperfections, which are specified in the product description. These characteristics are part of the work and do not constitute a defect for the purpose of return or refund.
To be eligible for a refund:
Original Works and Limited Editions: No return is possible except for a actual defect noted upon delivery, namely:

Damage occurring during transport (crushed tube, significant tears, missing parts).

Delivery error (work or print received does not match the order). Any actual defect must be reported immediately, and no later than 48 hours after receipt, by email with photos, while keeping the original packaging.
Standard Prints, Reproductions, and Design Objects/Small Furniture:

The work must be returned in its original condition, without any trace of handling, creasing, or damage.

It must imperatively be sent back in its original packaging (rigid tube and protections) to guarantee its safety during transport.

Any item returned damaged or incomplete will not be eligible for a refund.

Defects described in the product description (wear, foxing, small imperfections) do not give rise to a refund.
3. Return Costs and Procedures
As an independent gallery, return shipping costs are exclusively at the buyer's expense. We are unable to offer free return labels. Shipping must be carried out with a tracking number and adequate insurance, as the work remains your responsibility until it is received by the gallery.
Returns must be made with a tracking number and transport insurance to guarantee the safety of the work during transit. Refunds are processed after receipt and inspection by Studio Cinquante, via the initial payment method, within 7 to 10 business days.
4. Refund Process
Once the work is received and inspected by us, we will inform you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If the request is approved, the refund will be made to your initial payment method within 7 to 10 business days.
5. Works Damaged upon Delivery
If your tube arrives visibly damaged, please refuse the package or record specific reservations on the carrier's delivery note and contact us immediately by email with photos.
