The Studio

Studio Cinquante is an online gallery dedicated to post-war art. True to this era of cultural and artistic effervescence, I seek to create a dialogue between works: whether they are design icons, signed ceramics, or major figures of Lyrical Abstraction and the School of Paris, they compose an ode to audacity.

Studio Cinquante also reflects a predilection for the "cabinet of curiosities" spirit: singular objects that stand out and cannot be confined to a single style. Above all, it is a meticulously and passionately curated selection, driven by the desire to be the connecting thread between an object’s history and your encounter with it.

Before opening this space, my eye was honed for over 15 years in auction houses. There, I witnessed history unfold—both the "petite" and the "grande"—of which the object is a faithful witness. I learned the demands of expertise, the importance of provenance, and the complexity hidden behind apparent simplicity.

These years have forged an eye, a "treasure hunter" instinct, and an immoderate taste for eclecticism. This space is now dedicated to the novice, the seasoned collector, and the aesthete with a passion for beautiful interiors.
